Carmidhael Cobra 2 6x6 CrT. The newest appliance in the Manchester Airport fleet and the first to be powered by the new EU generation Caterpillar engine. Manchester was the first Airport Fire Service in the country to adopt the battenburg high vis markings on their appliances. Carmichael Cobra 2 6x6 CrT. One of two purchased in 2001. This particular appliance is stationed at the main fire station. Reynolds Boughton 6x6/Marlin. Delivered new in 1992. The CrT was the first Marlin to be purchased after R/Boughton's take over of Northern Counties. It was disposed of in 2006 as part of the exchange deal for the latest Carmicheal Cobra 2. Mitsubishi L200 4x4 Rescue Tender. This appliance replaced the 1988 Reynold Boughton Apollo RT. The Scania Viper RIV carries all the hydraulic cutting gear, and this vehicle was purchased to carry all the surplus equipment. CRASH 1; Chubb C2 Protector Rapid Intervention Vehicle, Again delivered new to Belfast City Airport, but seen here at Carlisle Airport. Both the C2 and C3 are due to be replaced by 2 Scania Viper RIVs CRASH 2; Chubb C3 Protector Major Crash tender. Delivered new to Belfast City Airport but seen here as part of the line up at Carlisle Airport This rare, unregistered, Stonefield P3000 4x4 L4V is the last Stonefield to still be opperational in the UK. The appliance is no longer on the run, but remains part of the fleet and is used as an equipment carrier Misubishi Warrior 4x4 is used as the Station Apron Vehicle Scania 124c 420/Carmichael Viper Rapid Intervention Vehicle. The appliance was delivered new in 2003 and is stationed at the main Fire Station. It's main function is to provides fire cover airside. It is seen here doing a test run down runway 23L. This ex Ellesmere Port appliance is one of two Foam Tenders delivered new to Cheshire Fire Brigade in 1978. The appliance was sold in 1997 to Shell for there Stanlow Oil Refinery at Ellesmere Port in Cheshire where it is still on the run. Landrover Defender/Angloco L/FoT was delivered new to Solvay Interox, Warrington This unregistered compact Mitsubishi Cavtar Angloco built appliance is based at the Eli Lilly Company at their Speke Operations on Merseyside Landrover FT5 Carmichael Redwing This appliance was delivered new to Chloride Batteries in Swinton Manchester in 1980 where it is still in use today. Landrover Defender Td5 1 of 4 of this type of appliance purchased by Rolls Royce Ltd. This one is based at the Barnoldswick factory. This appliance was replaced in 2008. RO04 EWC Honda Pan European ST1300A This is the second bike to go on the run in Merseyside and attemds RTA's Dennis Sabre ML322/Emergency One. This appliance was delivered new in 1999 ans allocated to N2 Aintree. In 2005 it waqs reallocated to S2 Speke/Garston. This is the only Dennis Sabre not to be re-bodied (Photo SH) Dennis SS243/Excalibur CBK. The appliance was delivered new in 1994 and allocated to N7 Southport. When it was stationed at Southport it had the famous Dennis SS243/Excalibur CBK. The appliance was delivered new in 1994 and allocated to Station N4 Crosby. It was replaced 2007 by a re-bodied TVAC Dennis Sabre. It is now in the reserve fleet. (Photo SH) Scania P310 6x2/Rear Steer with Richard Wilkinson Flat bed. There is also a Palfinger 20002 Crane fitted on the rear. The appliance has been designated an OSU and has yet to allocated (Photo SH) The Palfinger 20002 Crane that is mounted on the back of the new Operational Support Unit. Scania 94D-260/Excalibur. This appliance delivered new in 2002 and allocated to N3 Croxteth (Photo SH) Dennis SS237/Excalibur. delivered new 1991 and allocated to S9 Belle Vale. It moved into the Special Rescue Team fleet in 2004 and is seen here at the rear of N3 Croxteth and is an S>R>T reserve. (Photo SH) MAN TGM 15.240/Curtain Sider. The appliance is used primerily as a Driver Training vehicle based at the Training and Developement Centre at N3 Croxteth, But can be used as a General Purpose Lorry if the need arises. The appliance runs as second away at Croxteth but it also used as part of the Special Rescue Team fleet, and carries a large amount of rescue epuipment. One of Eight delivered in 1991 with the Dennis SS237/Excalibur. Delivered new in 1993 and allocated to Station E1 St Helens. This appliance is now part of the reserve fleet. The appliance was delivered new in 1995 and was allocated to Station E1 St Helens. It then moved to Station S2 Speke/Garston. With the formation of the USAR Team it moved to Station N3 Croxteth where it was used to carry the new Search and Rescue Pod. It moved to the reserve fleet in November 2008. Mercedes 1124F/Locomotors Delivered new in 1992 and alloacted to station 19 Macclesfield. It moved to the Retained pump in 1999. It moved to the reserve fleet in November 2008. ERF EC8.30/BG Fire/Direct Access SS263. was delivered new to Macclesfield in 1999.The booms on the this appliance came off WFM 465W a Dennis F125 Chassis which was stationed at Chester. Mercedes 1124F/Carmichael Was delivered in 1984 and allocated to station 04 Widnes, it was then allocated to station 12 Nantwich and the to its pressent station 20 Bollington. It is now part of the reserve fleet. Vauxhall Brava 2.8D 4x4/SVB is based at station 20 Bollington Landrover 109 V8/Jennings The appliance was 1 of 8 delivered in 1981 this particular vehicle was allocated to station 20 Bollington. It is now used by the Fire Cadets at station 22 Poynton. Dennis SFD322 Dennis SFD322 Mercedes Atego 1328F/JDC 1 of 2 delivered in 2003. This appliance stationed at Northwich Mercedes 1124F/Carmichael Stationed at Nortwich Citoen Relay Incident Command Unit Leyland-Daf Roadrunner 8-15/Gordons This appliance new to Northwich in 1990 and was a combined Command Unit and Canteen Unit. It has now been withdrawn from operational duties. Dennis SFD Dennis RS133/Dennis wa comverted from a WrL to the OSU in 1995 by Cheshire Fire Service Workshops. It is the oldest appliance in Cheshire on the run. It is to be repaced later on this year, when al the equipment will go onto a Pod, and mounted on the extra MAN TGA Prime Mover that has been allocated to the Brigade Citroen Relay 6x2 Information Unit/Mobile Fire Station. It has since been converted into a second/reserve Control Unit (Photo SH) Iveco Turbo Daily 65c15/TVAC. These appliances were originally designated as a Targeted Response Vehicle (TRV) But have now been reclassified as a Light Water Tender. This appliance has now been allocated to Station 06 Frodsham, and went on the run as there second appliance on the 20/04/2008. (Photo SH) Dennis SFD111 Vauxhall Brava 2.8D 4x4/SVB Delivered new to Frodsham. It has now had the Fogging system removed and is at present stationed at Knutsford. (Photo SH) Iveco Turbo Daily 65c17HPT/TVAC.(Photo SH) Landrover Carmichael Redwing. This is believed to be the last Redwing built and was delivered in 1977 and allocated to the then C3 Middlewich. In 1988 it was moved to Nantwich where it remained until 1996, when it was removed from service. It is now preserved at Nantwich Fire station (Photo SH) Leyland-Daf 45-150/Lynton Commercials. Delivered new in 1992 as an Incident Support Unit and allocated to Congleton. It moved to Crewe in 1994 and was renamed a Damage Limitation Unit. The appliance is due to be replaced in the near future. (Photo SH) Mercedes Atego 1328F/JDC One of three delivered in early 2004. DG53 JNX was allocated to Crewe. (Photo SH) Mercedes Benz 2.0 CDi. This vehicle was purchased new in 2001 and is used for driver training, mainly officers who require blue light training in cars.(Photo SH) GMC sierra SL3500 4x4/Jennings. This appliance was delivered new to Warrington in 1991 as an Operational Support Unit. In 1996 it was reallocated to Chester as a Haz/Mat Unit. In 2002 it was reduced to a towing vehicle to tow one of the Brigades Chinnok Rigid Inflatable Boats at Chester. It is seen here at HQ waiting disposal after being replaced by a new Ford Ranger (Photo SH) MAN LE14-280/TVAC. This appliance is the second of this batch of MAN Water Ladders and has been allocated 09 Chester.(Photo SH) Mercedes Atego 1328F/JDC. One of two delivered in 2001, this one being allocated to 27 Winsford. The applianca has been totally refurbished and reallocated to station 05 Runcorn as there second pump.(Photo SH) MAN LE14.280/TVAC. Delivered new in 2008, this is the first of a batch of two and has been allocated to 27 Winsford. (Photo SH) Iveco Turbo Daily 65c17HPT/TVAC. As you can see by the photograph on this page, the appliance has been fitted with an Angus Sacol ladder gantry and a 9.6 metre ladder. It is now classed as a L/WrT and as been allocated to 27 Winsford as there second appliance and will be manned by the Retained. (Photo SH) Mercedes 1328F Atego/JDC. The second of a batch of two delivered in 2001. This appliance was allocated to 03 Stockton Heath. It is due to be replaced with one of the new MAN TGM pumps and will be reallocated to station 04 Widnes in the near future. (Photo SH) Iveco Turbo Daily 65c15/TVAC. This appliance has now been allocated to Station 03 Stockton Heath as there second pump and is crewed by the retained. (Photo SH) Dennis SFD111 MAN TGM/TVAC. This is the latest batch of three MAN appliances to go into service. This one was has been allocated to 01 Warrington but was seen at Warrington on driver training. (Photo SH) Mercedes 1124F/Carmichael. The last of a batch of six Carmicheal built pumps delivered in 1994. This particular one was allocated to Station 15 Crewe until 2005 when it was re-allocated to Station 13 Audlem. It is has now gone into the reserve fleet. (Photo SH) Landrover 109 V8/Jennings. This is the first of a batch of nine delivered new in 1981 and allocated to the then Station C10, now 13 Audlem, where it is still on the run today. One of two Water Rescue Units Delivered in 2006, this one was allocated to Warrington Fire Station ERF EC8.30 6x2/JDC/Kenilworth. Delivered new in 1997 and allocated to 01 Warrington. This appliance is switch manned and is moved to Eleesmere Port whenever there Foam Tender is off the run. Dennis SFD Mercedes 1328F Atego/JDC This appliance was delivered new in 2004 and allocated to Station 04 Widnes. This was the last Atago Pump to be purchased by Cheshire Mercedes 1328F Atego/JDC. Delivered new in 2001. This was the first Mercedes Atego to go on the run in Cheshire and was allocated to Station 27 Winsford. In 2008 the appliance was totally refurbished and reallocated to Runcorn where it has gone on the run as there 2nd Whole Time Pump. Mercedes 1328 Atego/JDC. One of three delivered new in early 2004. DG53 JNY was allocated to Statiom 04 Runcorn. Dennis SFD Leyland-Daf 45-150/Lynton Commercials. One of two Incident Support Units delivered new in 1992, this one being allocated to 08 Ellesmere Port. There roll was changed in 1999 to Damage Limitation Units. ERF EC8.30 6x2/JDC/Kenilworth. One of Two Foam Tenders delivered new in 1997. This one was allocated to 08 Ellesmere Port, the appliance is primary manned as it covers a large ammount of petro chemical sites in the station area. Dennis SFD322 Volvo FL10/6x4/Angloco/Bronto Skylift F32HDT. New in 1996 and delivered to the then Merseyside Fire Brigade and allocated to N3 Storrington Avenue (Croxteth). The appliance was purchased by Cheshire Fire Brigade in 2001 to replace a 1987 (E717 SON) Scania P92M/Carmichael/Bronto Skylift 28-2Ti which was bought by the New Zealand Fire Brigade. It is stationed at 09 Chester Ford Ranger TDCi/Truckman. This is the second Water Rescue Unit, this one was allocated to Chester Fire Station

One of 5 delivered new in 1994, this particular appliance allocated to the Retained Fire Station at Ambleside. These Compact pumps were fitted with Midship Godiva pumps. Landrover 110/Carmichael. Delivered New in 1986 and allocated to Ambleside Fire Station where it has served all its working life. The appliance is due to be replaced in the next few weeks. Volvo FL6-14-Emergency One. New in 2000. The appliance is now stationed at Keswick Iveco HC50C15 Turbo/Emergency One. The Appliance was delivered new in 2004 and allocated to Keswick.
